FCM: Food Contact Materials

Every sale of a ceramic food-contact product must be issued with a so-called Declaration of Conformity (DoC). This certifies that the product is in compliance with legal prescriptions, which provide value limits for cadmium and lead solubility.

Analyzes
The analyzes on the releases of Lead and Cadmium in an acid environment certify my glazes are in compliance with legal prescriptions. Indeed, in my production, fired at high temperatures (1180-1300°C), these elements are not used. However, the regulation requires that this be validated by analytical tests to exclude contamination.
FCM certification is mandatory for each product in contact with food (EC 1935/2004).

How to use my products
Items can be used in microwaves and dishwashers.
Before their first use, it is recommended to wash the items.
